EDEN: One Year Anniversary! Sat October 28th 2006!!! Yes you read correctly!!! We've missed our Eden gatherings incredibly these past few months. Some of my fondest memories were shared with our wonderful family of friends in our mystical garden temple tucked away hidden in the strangest of places you’d think (The Hole, Point Loma). THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS YEAR SO POSITIVE!!! Eden was originally inspired from my first Burning Man, and quickly became a way to share this inspiration with those who may never have the chance to get a taste of this otherwise. Also as a place for those who are of this tribe we call ‘Burner’ to gather comfortably outside of BRC and connect in the other world. Enough factors have come together to set Eden in motion once again (oddly enough right after my second Burn). The people have spoken, and at this point I can't say no - Eden is rising from the ashes once again! Believe me, it would be so much easier and stress free rather than coordinating these events to pass and just focus on my DJ'ing/Residencies & Music Production. However, I do this as my gift and thanks to the community, not for financial gain or other glories. It wouldn't be possible without the inspired beauty and awe from witnessing the Burning of the Man - he truly was magnificent this year, just like all the participants are who congregated on the playa to share in creating the experience. For this I am grateful and desire to share this gift of light. That being said, we bring you the One Year Anniversary for Eden and our Turntable-Evangelism events. Catch up with old friends and make new ones in the relaxing Garden Paradise of ‘Eden’ after decompressing from the Burn. Full details will be posted soon, so mark those calendars and start spreading the word! Expect Classic Eden Magic in our Mystical Temple Garden, full of art, music, light, positive creative energy, and shared inspiration. Iain Gunn brings his Visionary Psychedelic Masterpieces set to a black light garden, music provided by Jack Tripper and special guest DJ’s (full lineup tba soon!) Also, as a special gift back (and since we really don't care about the money we do this for the love of a good party), it will be free before 9pm! We’re planning a free potluck from 7-9pm so come have dinner with us and share good food & good vibes to start the evening off right. After 9pm just $5 cover if you mention “Eden” at the entrance when you arrive – we only ask this to help maintain the expenses of producing this event. We have some special surprises in store including most “Playalicious” costume prizes. Bring your glow poi, flags, and hoops for the spin jam. As always, $2 beers & $4 pitchers all night from the bar, and BBQ on the patio!
