I have been in the DJ business for 15-years and I am still in love with what I do. There are two primary reasons why I have lasted so long in this business. First, I consistently meet the needs of those I perform for. The second reason has to do with my work ethic.

My style is that of a mix-party DJ. I sound great on the mic, I can mix and beat match in my sleep (and often do-the dreams are amazing), and I can also cut and scratch, but I do not rely on those skills.

If I were pressed to relate my favorite style of music, I would have to give you this cheesy, yet honest answer… I like to play what the ultimate customer likes to hear and that’s even when I am at home or in my car. To clarify, while performing in most Bars or Nightclubs, I tend to spin current Urban, Rhythm, House, and Mainstream Radio genres of music, as these styles of music tend to pay the bills for most venue owners.

A couple of years ago I came to the realization that I am not quite too old to be a Deejay.

However, if I am still humping gear and working the road just to make ends meet by the time I've reached 40. I have, in my opinion, made a lot of bad professional decisions a long the way.

This is the reason why I am interested in networking with like-minded industry professionals like myself to, at least in the short-term, pool equipment, experience, and transportation in order to promote and perform at medium to large private/semi-private events.

My ultimate long-term goal is to turn the above-mentioned cooperative synergy in to an organization devoted to the promotion of Deejays, music production, and performance.
