I love, love, love to travel even day trips or long drives. Collaboration is big with me on various things small to large.
I have taken my hobby Arabic Percussion to an extream; traveled the world, have a space dedicated, the reason I work, sometime the reason I live and wake up, my collections, my friends, I had a bio written; www.iqaat.com/yit-members.htm
, jeeze I bet people on the outside think I'm nuts.
Studied and was an assistant to Souhail Kaspar for 4 years or so. Currently learn from and Play with Faisal Zedan. Getting tips when I can from Tobias Roberson.
I co-founded a group called the Youm it Talaata Ensemble with Faisal Zedan.
The pinnacle of everything that I have done and seen is to be able to; listen to, relax to, play with, learn from, fall asleep to and make love to -- wonderful live music played by some of the best musicians.
I am truly blessed.

Happy Birthday Drum Drop :) From miles and miles away, I wish you a lovely and magical day as you enjoy the gift of another year. Stay happy and healthy, as you are. You are truly a beautiful person, with your generous, caring and huge heart, your amazing talents (in drumming, in technical stuff, in dealing with people), your sexy fabio hair, your dance moves, let me say it again, your mesmerizing dance moves, your adventurous spirit, your positive vibes, dashing good looks, amazing Turkish coffee making skills, your Arabic jokes and your warm smile. Not that I needed to tell you any of that. Now stop trying to make me gelosa with "how your flirt with women" and just admit how madly in love with me you are and take me to the South of France. Yeesh. Happy Birthday Drum Drop. Tanti Auguri. You're my favorite.

When I first met Donavon it was obvious to me that he was a kick ass drummer. But there's a lot more, over the last year I've learned that he's a really good spirit, I like to be around him. He makes me laugh and feel lucky that he calls me a friend or brat or whatever he's calling me today.

The structure of a tradesperson can also be applyed to
learning a personal art (dance, music, etc):
The training of a trade in European cultures has been a formal tradition for many centuries. A tradesman typically begins as an apprentice, working for and learning from a Master, and after a number of years is released from his master's service to become a Journeyman. After a Journeyman has proven himself to his trade's guild (most guilds are now known by different names), he may settle down as a Master and work for himself, eventually taking on his own apprentices.
A very odd but interesting horoscope.
You're the social equivalent of a bonfire at the beach (that's been built by an expert and provides heat and light but poses no threat of burning out of control). You draw people to you. Old friends and relative strangers alike want to spend the evening with you, warming their hands, enjoying the sounds of the ocean and watching the stars.
Today, like every other day, we wake up empty
and frightened. Don't open the door to the study
and begin reading. Take down a musical instrument.
Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
doesn't make any sense.
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep.
I would love to kiss you.
The price of kissing is your life.
Now my loving is running to my life shouting,
What a bargain, let's buy it.
Daylight, full of small dancing particles
and the one great turning, our souls
are dancing with you, without feet, they dance.
Can you see them when I whisper in your ear?
They try to say what you are, spiritual or sexual?
They wonder about Solomon and all his wives.
In the body of the world, they say, there is a soul
and you are that.
But we have ways within each other
that will never be said by anyone.
Come to the orchard in Spring.
There is light and wine, and sweethearts in the pomegranate flowers.
If you do not come, these do not matter.
If you do come, these do not matter.

Consciousness is a symptom of disease.
All that moves well moves without will.
All skillfulness, all strain, all intention is contrary to ease.
Practise a thousand times, and it becomes difficult;
a thousand thousand, and it becomes easy;
a thousand thousand times a thousand thousand, and it is no longer Thou that doeth it, but It that doeth itself through thee. Not until then is that which is done well done.
Thus spoke FRATER PERDURABO as he leapt from rock to rock of the moraine without ever casting his eyes upon the ground.
(Aleister Crowley: Book of Lies)"
Start something with an expectation, you end up with an expectation filled or not. If you start with a possibility without an expectation, your left with fulfilled possibility or not, but now the disappointment and struggle is gone.
Aquarians are perpetually painted as cold, robotic characters who have no heart and no passion. They are, we are told, entirely intellectual in their make up. Like Star Trek's Mr. Spock, they can only think, they cannot feel. They are supposed to be aloof, distant, uncaring and for good measure, they are also reputed to be insanely eccentric.
Well, there's no denying the "eccentric bit". People born under this sign are fiercely proud of their idiosyncrasies. In truth though, their disposition is the very antithesis of ambivalent. They are highly sensitive souls who care deeply about the people around them. It's because they are so inwardly vulnerable that they hide their feelings behind a mask of indifference. They fear that if they ever let it slip, they may never restore it. For much the same reason, Aquarians are sociable. They figure, as long as they are making pleasant, easy conversation or discussing ideas rather than emotions, they will be able to distract others from the true intensity of their passionate hearts.
The Key To Success:
To be an Aquarian is to have impeccable, almost infallible judgement. It is to know, instantly, the right answer to any question and to see, immediately, the best way to proceed with any plan. It is also though, to be viewed with suspicion by those who do not possess such clarity. All you ever need, to be successful, is to act on your insights.
Never treats a woman like a sex object and prefers a variety of foreplay before getting down to it. May have be to revved up, but once his engine is started, he is free and inventive with amazing persistence. He will always see you through to climax. A woman who knows what she wants will be very happy. He usually ensures an orgasm twice - once orally and once genitally. Erogenous zones: gently touching the calves and ankles will get him going. Be careful though - a kinky Aquarian can be a sadist who doesn't like to be denied!

***Your Seduction Style: Sweet Talker***
Your seduction technique can be summed up with "charm" You know that if you have the chance to talk to someone... Well, you won't be talking for long! ;-)
You're great at telling potential lovers what they want to hear. Partially, because you're a great reflective listener and good at complementing. The other part of your formula? Focusing your conversation completely on the other person.
Your "sweet talking" ways have taken you far in romance - and in life. You can finess your way through any difficult situation, with a smile on your face. Speeding tickets, job interviews... bring it on! You truly live a *charmed life*
What Kind of Seducer Are You?
The Way of Transformation
The man who, being really on the Way, falls upon hard times in the world will not, as a consequence, turn to that friend who offers him refuge and comfort and encourages his old self to survive.
Rather, he will seek out someone who will faithfully and inexorably help him to risk himself, so that he may endure the suffering and pass courageously through it, thus making of it a "raft that leads to the far shore."
Only to the extent that man exposes himself over and over again to annihilation, can that which is indestructible arise within him. In this lies the dignity of daring. Thus, the aim of practice is not to develop an attitude which allows a man to acquire a state of harmony and peace wherein nothing can ever trouble him. On the contrary, practice should teach him to let himself be assaulted, perturbed, moved, insulted, broken and battered - that is to say, it should enable him to dare to let go his futile hankering after harmony, surcease from pain, and a comfortable life in order that he may discover, in doing battle with the forces that oppose him, that which awaits him beyond the world of opposites.
The first necessity is that we should have the courage to face life, and to encounter all that is most perilous in the world. When this is possible, meditation itself becomes the means by which we accept and welcome the demons which arise from the unconscious, a process very different from the practice of concentration on some object as a protection against such forces.
Only if we venture repeatedly through zones of annihilation can our contact with Divine Being, which is beyond annihilation, become firm and stable. The more a man learns whole-heartedly to confront the world that threatens him with isolation, the more are the depths of the Ground of Being revealed and the possibilities of New Life and Becoming opened.
The Way of Transformation by Karlfried Graf von Dürckheim
-- The Importance of Gourdcrafting --
translated by Coleman Barks and John Moyne
There was a maidservant
who had cleverly trained a donkey
to perform the services of a man.
From a gourd,
she had carved a flanged device
to fit on the donkey's penis,
to keep him from going too far into her.
She had fashioned it just to the point
of her pleasure, and she greatly enjoyed
the arrangement, as often as she could!
She thrived, but the donkey was getting
a little thin and tired looking.
The mistress began to investigate. One day
she peeked through a crack in the door
and saw the animal's marvelous member
and the delight of the girl
stretched under the donkey.
She said nothing. Later, she knocked on the door
and called the maid out on an errand,
a long and complicated errand.
I won't go into details.
The servant knew what was happening, though.
"Ah, my mistress," she thought to herself,
"you should not send away the expert.
When you begin to work without full knowledge,
you risk your life. Your shame keeps you
from asking me about the gourd, but you must
have that to join with this donkey.
There's a trick you don't know!"
But the woman was too fascinated with her idea
to consider any danger. She led the donkey in
and closed the door, thinking, "With no one around
I can shout in my pleasure."
She was dizzy
with anticipation, her vagina glowing
and singing like a nightingale.
She arranged the chair under the donkey,
as she had seen the girl do. She raised her legs
and pulled him into her.
Her fire kindled more,
and the donkey politely pushed as she urged him to,
pushed through and into her intestines,
and, without a word, she died.
The chair fell one way,
and she the other.
The room was smeared with blood.
have you ever seen anyone martyred
for a donkey? Remember what the Qur'an
says about the torment of disgracing yourself.
Don't sacrifice your life to your animal-soul!
If you die of what that leads you to do,
you are just like this woman on the floor.
She is an image of immoderation.
and keep your balance.
The maidservant returns and says, "Yes, you saw
my pleasure, but you didn't see the gourd
that put a limit on it. You opened
your shop before a master
taught you the craft."
