M, you f*^king ROCK!

I have known Mermaid for many years and must say I am so pleased that she is living her dream. Friends like M remain so even if you haven't even *seen* 'em for years, as time just has NO meaning when you have that sortta soul connexion.....

was it five minutes ago or five years? does it matter? NO 'cause M transcends... before she was spinning she was dancing and playing and that's when we met. We even went on a bellydance retreat here on Maui once (when you comin' back for a visit?), and had many wonderful memories in SF (mmmm, kabobs! mmm, bongs!) and elsewhere (remember that Isis place in Garberville? wait... was it Garberville or Geyserville? I think it was the geyser one! LOL!)

I am stoked she found her passion in spinning! (And I ain't talkin' stationary bikes, folks!).... all paths lead to where you are.

I am so happy for you, M, that life is good. You deserve it! And I *know* you are making other people's lives better by playing music and just being YOU, even without the turntables or CD player.... thank you for bringing and sharing joy so freely.

I remember when M was a baby spinner,,, now she is a full grown DJ!!! How cool is that? SF will never be the same....

I met the Divine Miss M way back in the halcyon days of the digital revolution - back when people thought stock options were important. I was so impressed by her wanton goofyness and crazy sexy sass, I knew that meeting her would be the best thing to come out of working in the internet coal mines. Now she's a super dj and a St Stupid regular, I'm always glad to see this bunny - in or out of her fur.

I hereby renew my testimonial:

M plays the soundtrack to my life. She inspires me to be more loving and accepting everytime I interact with her. One time she had 2 beautiful dahlias nestled in her twists of hair. We walked by a llamma who was trained to greet people by sniffing foreheads. M leaned over and the slightly surprised beast gently nibbled a flower from her hair. M went ahead and let him munch the other one. It was a hilarious moment which I will treasure always. She is like a Magic Fairy Princess, I know she has wings under that bunny suit.

M is the best mother i'll never have.
the coolest psuedo parent i could hope for.
she is understanding, trust, love, great tunes, humor, play, delight, inspiration, she is candy.
she is a monster. and a pony. and a great friend. i love her.

M is truly the mistress of the decks. I've counted on her for more times than I can count to herd the cats, haul the decks and spin music that just plain makes me joyful.
