At 34, I have participated in a wide range of educational and professional opportunities. I majored in art at East Carolina University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for three years. Later at UNC Chapel Hill, I studied painting under Professor Saltzman. I graduated from the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, where I studied Multimedia Productions and Computer Graphics. In addition I studied computer art under Acha Debela at Central University in Durham. I am a junior at UNC Asheville with a major in Multi-media Arts & Sciences. PRIMARY INTERESTS: I am currently working on projects which combine fine arts, computer design and music. I enjoy working with other artists on projects such as CD covers like the one I designed for a Seattle, Washington, Tyco drumming group. I have created numerous advertising posters, flyers and other accessories for bands, concerts and parties. In addition I am a DJ who has organized numerous events, concerts, and parties. SKILLS: Painting: oils, acrylics, water color, batik, air brush, & spray paint. Drawing: markers, pens, crayons, charcoal, pencil, oil pastel, gel pens, highlighters, chalk, & India ink.
