Back on the dubstep flex for Immerse as we bring you another EP drenched in deep subaqueous vibes, featuring one of 2007’s finest up’n’coming producers, Djunya, and newcomer Borg.

First up is Brahman Dub from San Francisco’s Djunya, with possibly his finest outing on wax yet. Let yourself be enveloped in bassy warmth, as bright rays of light from above dazzle your eyes and resonant synths swim around your head.

On the flip, Borg makes his debut with two fine slices of 138 action. Frogman is a sweet laidback number, with chords of pure relaxation and classic bongo licks punctuating a sub-driven funk groove. Kisses of Fire ups the energy levels, swirling pads and slicing hi-hats maintaining a relentless pace over the punchy growling lowend.

Hello all, the long awaited BAY AREA DUBSTEP CD is now Available now www.Addictech.com for download. You can preview high quality clips of each track before you buy, and you can save money if you purchase the CD as an entire package.

The compilation is almost a year in the making, and contains 14 unmixed, dj friendly tracks by San Francisco Bay Area Dubstep and Grime Artists. I have presented them in the order that I would mix them, so that the entire CD can be played in full and enjoyed by the regular electronic music listener.

From the deep heady ethnic stylings of Djunya, JuJu and D Program, to the
twisted tech-dub of Eskmo and The Antiserum, the grimey orchestrations of
Albert Joseph and MBZ, to the live hardware sounds of Atomikdog and
Zapper, and finally to the rootical stylings of Matty G and Roomate,
each and every track is a chronicle to this contemporary musical artform
called "Dubstep".

This is music meant for soundsystems, this is the future of music.

Bristol based label Mode Recordings - set up to promote new and established artists within the Dubstep culture, bring you their third release which features two immaculately produced tunes from Djunya (USA) which both display strong echoes of dubstep's rich heritage in rave, jungle and dub, yet re-contextulised for today's dance floors.

'Contact' is a suberb skank-stepper, propelled by righteous chord stabs, gargantuan bass vibrations and a wobbly, filtered 'Mentasm' sample that will instantly appeal to anyone who still remembers and cherishes those classic hardcore 'hoover' tunes such as Human Resource's 'Dominator'. Add a subtle dash of organ harmony and the results are practically irresistable.

On the flip, 'Uprise' assembles a gothic choir, pensive Spanish guitar melody and ghostly flashes of militaristic, heavily-reverberated Amen breakbeat to build a truly epic soundtrack that drips with ominous tension and gradually developes into a spine-tingling crescendo that will send shivers through the crowd at any dance.

US based DJ and producer Djunya is known for his blend of bass heavy beats and focusing on the heavy tones of dubstep to produce tracks that captivates his listeners on both sides of the pond.

Its purpose is to deliver a snapshot of the Dubstep scene as it lives today across the UK, Europe and the US.
