Friday Feb. 13th 2009 This is an underground event in a sound permitted location in North Hollywood. Space is limited to 400 people. We have been itching for a groovy indoor progressive party for a while and this looks like the one we've been waiting for... This is going to be another collaboration event, with gorgeous decor, amazing music, and the whatever else we manifest. A follow up email containing telephone numbers for directions will be dispersed the day of the gathering. so i have begun the process of searching out a bookings manager as i am working non stop it seems and being a father is my other full time job so needless to say i dont have the time needed to get gigs and lineup tours and such. So im looking for someone to do that for me. yesterday we saved a man who was drowning in the kern river

yesterday i was with some friends on the kern river. someone started yelling someone was drowning and when i got to where the man was, he had been washed down huge rapids and was pinned up against a rock in the middle of raging rapids. i did not have time to get rope or more help, this man was going to die in another 30 seconds. i jumped fearlessly into the raging rapids risking my own life, after i got near the man, he was in shock and could not grab my hand and i could not reach him, i would have been pulled in anyways because i did not have anything to hold me up, as i was standing with only one foot on a moss covered rock with zero room for ewrror. another man had almost reached us as well and i said to him grab my hand so the man in the water would not just pull me in also. Trevor G.S. was the one who got my attention originally about the man stuck. Trevor then found a deflated inner tube Joe had brought. Trevor perfectly tossed me the inner tube and i then tossed it to the man drowning, he was able to get hie arm in it and i pulled him to where i was, which was not good at all. he was stiff as a board, ghostly white and was not helping himself. so i pulled him to my chest and crossed the rapids again with this man, where joe and the other guy who held my hand helped me get hiom across the last bad spot in the river. while he just chilled for a second to figure out how to get him out, joe slipped in the bad spot and got washed down the river facing serious rapids, but we locked eyes and it was natural to grab his arm and pull him in back to where i was holding the stiff guy. then the other guy fell in as well and i had to grab his arm and pull him too. after we got him out, i spent 30 minutes rubbing his skin and massaging him, walked him through throwing up water he ingested and he slowly began to gain his strength to lean up on his own. What is crazy is this man not only a month or so ago i met him at this other river party and he was a total jerk to me, ran over my hula hoop with his 4 wheeler, and then spit dirt in my face with his motorcycle he was riding around on all drunk. And after he came out of shock he said to me, Thank you, and i knew what he meant, the unsaid was clear. I told him there would have been a load of people mad as hell if he was to die there in the river like sooo many other people each year do. He wept very hard in my arms for sometime and during which time he said repeatedly how sorry he was for being a dickface to me and how he just saw his life flash before his eyes and i then told him july 1st ill have 18 moths without drinking and there is another way to live without being a total drunk. Thank you everyone who was involved in the rescue, as i would have surely died as well if the other things were not there like the tube, trevor, joe, the guy whose name i always forget who held my arm in a human chain,and the girls who started screaming who saw him get sucked under and disappear down river. I started crying after it was over because i knew it could have turned out much much worse, thank you Universe for letting me stay in this Body for a little longer. Today before i left i walked down river where it all went on and i honestly could not figure out how i even ever got over to the rock in the middle of the freaking river! The people watching all said i jumped across to the rock but it was like 10 feet or so through huge raging rapids then where he was actually pinned was so violent of a rapids just could not believe we saved him. We are all hero's in my book. Everything happens for a reason and i am just lucky to know the friends i have and i consider each and everyone one of you family. p.s. besides some serious couple problems, moontribes 15 yr went off and my sunrise set was very fun, seeing my inspirations grooving for my set was almost overwhelming. I was not nervous this time and i did not over analyze my set, just dumped some tunes and contributed my little part....pics will be up soon.

im a bit tired but it was so worth it, thanks to everyone involved. so many wonderful people came to share space time and music with us. we opened and closed the ceremony hand in hand and it was so amazingly awesome, the power we shared, we were dancing in the rain with rainbows in the hot forest!!!! it was a slice of heaven, the music was so good, everyone played such nice sets and we thanks you all for coming, contributing and helping create a magical experience that touched the hearts of many. Thanks you again everyone, and our Mother Earth.

Albert Hofmann, the father of LSD, passed away at 9AM CEST on Tuesday April 29, 2008 at his home in Basel, Switzerland. Cause of death was a heart attack; two caretakers were there with him at the time. MAPS President Rick Doblin said, "[Albert and I] spoke on the phone the day after the Basel conference and he was happy and fulfilled. He'd seen the renewal of LSD psychotherapy research with his own eyes, as had [his wife] Anita. last night 01.09.08 my cousins wife of just over a year was hit by a drunk driver while walking to her bus stop after work. she was only 24. She will be missed and her soul shall burn forever on in the light. She was a special wonderful woman, who was the other half of my cousin. the driver of the car sped away and is still at large. this instance reminds me to cherish life while we can. take each breath as it were your last because as we know, it very well could be. so many wonderful souls enter and leave this world each minute, and i am thankful i have right now, this moment alive. its hard yes, but the show goes on. we dance on, we remember, we celebrate their lives with joy and hard groove! the fire burns on we must dance as one light, while we still can.
