Thurgood, so good! (blog entry) I went to a play tonight. As always the theater staff announces “please take this time to turn off all phones and electronics. And all recording is prohibited”. It is amazing to think how much I am part of the documentation movement that has to tw... read more

Find More, UseLess (blog entry) The GOP’s new slogan, “Find More, Use Less” is useless.

Ok. Let’s talk a little about the realities about the oil market.

I would like to preface this with why I think this is so important. John McCain is 72 years old. If he and Sarah Palin were to win the election, he would hold the most powerful position of government on earth but it is also one of the most stressful and physically demanding [...]

I decided to buy a blu-ray player about a year ago, just before HD-DVD had lost the game. I did it at the right time I think because it ended up being much cheaper and they gave me 10 blu-ray disks for free. Yeah competition! Then, I finally broke down and purchased a [...]

Political season is in full effect and I can’t help but wonder about the differences that divide our thinking as a country. Sometime we just seem so polarized. Growing up my friend Justin said something profound to me extremists are the bane of society. I don’t know that I believed him at that time. I was [...]

I know how unbelievably uncool I am for using a BlackBerry vs. an iPhone or maybe even a G1 but frankly, since I reloaded it, it works like the business tool that I need it to. And it still supports a huge amount of apps. I ran across one that I thought was exceptional. [...]

San Francisco Muni now offers a bus service the exclusively brings people to and from museums within SF. The new line is called the 74X CultureBus. It started this past weekend (Sept. 20, 2008) and runs daily departing about every 20 minutes. It does however cost more money than a standard Muni [...]

Psychobabble

I went to a play tonight. As always the theater staff announces “please take this time to turn off all phones and electronics. And all recording is prohibited”. It is amazing to think how much I am part of the documentation movement that has to twit details of my life and photo graph what I eat. I sometimes feel like it would not be real if I did not share it digitally. I definitely was not always this way. Quite the opposite. I hated taking photos unless it was for artistic purposes and I de... read more

The GOP’s new slogan, “Find More, Use Less” is useless.

Ok. Let’s talk a little about the realities about the oil market.

It is a global market with China and India desirous of more and more oil. Regardless of our minimal conservation efforts, prices still rise, because global demand has not decreased.
Speculators negatively effect the oil market for consumers. Once the US government opened up the futures market to non-consumers, pure paper speculators, the market has become more vola... read more

My Testi's

July 27, 2006
Every time I try to write a testimonial for Dennis, I am stumped. Not because I don’t have things to say about him, but because I have too many. So I guess I’ll just have to focus on one. Or two, or ten…

I have so much love for this man it doesn’t fit in my heart. It spills all over. There are few people I admire and respect as much. He is kind, generous, loving, caring and sweet. He is patient. He is naughty(!) and very, very nice. He makes me laugh so hard I cry. His intellect is dazzling and he has a caustic wit. He is inordinately fond of monkeys. And cows.

Trying to explain Dennis is like trying to describe a rainbow to a blind man. You can only really experience it. He has enriched my life from the first moment I met him, and every day he becomes a bigger part of me. I am a better person for having him in my life.

Dennis is creative, smart, an *absolute blast* to hang out with, and quite quite naughty! Did I mention handsome and squeezable too? The more time I spend with this guy, the more I adore him.

One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

While villains and thugs seem to over-populate San Francisco's seedy underbelly, there are very few that ever acheived the destructive capacity of a true Evil Master Mind. However, Dennis carries this title with a level of sophistication and style that keeps him at the top of this city's most elite practitioners of Arch Villainry.

Since our first encounter, in 1998, I have watched Dennis refine his innate talent with extreme self-discipline and determination. Since then, it has been my privilege to conspire with him on countless Sinister Plots and Hijinks leading up to our recent formal aliance. Now, along with our equally menacing colleague, Andy Lash, we direct the EvilAlien Foundation, Dennis' own formidable brain child.

This is one super villain whose plots will not be meddled with. He is truely an malevolent inspiration to us all.
