My birthday is New Year's Eve, but I celebrated it on New Year's Day. I don't like to go out on the drunkest night of the year and Monday is my usual Devil's Point night anyway. Not many people in America look forward to their 40th birthday, but I was stoked for weeks just thinking about it! Most of the people I call Friend were there to share in the festivities (or participate, the little devils!) and made for one of the best nights of my life. This goes out to all my friends and close aquaintences. I want to send all of you a deep down heart-felt thank you. I find myself in a rather odd position in that I've always been the outsider, the loner, never one of the "cool kids". Lately I've been having a lot of my new friends telling me how cool they think I am and I just don't know how to respond! I don't think of myself in those terms, I'm just doing what seems to be natural. I truly am pleased that I can bring pleasure to others...
