I'm a doctoral candidate in Cultural Anthropology. I also study philosophy. I have a great interest in comparative philosophy and conceptual history. I teach, and read alot. I'm a big ol' bookworm. I would like to start painting again. I love to garden and ride my bike.

I'm very interested in learning about sustainability, alternative/renewable energy, agriculture, and the arts of subsistence . Lately, I have found myself interested in weaving, beadwork, and woodworking.

I'm mixed: my mother is of european descent, my father is half black and half native american (muscogee nation). I'm committed to learning from the history of this combination.

How can we encourage convivial alternatives to industrial colonialism?
