Powell's Books" in Portland,OR. (mail order available)- go to their website and type in "a ( local favorites » artists ) "BEST DAMN BOOK STORE, PERIOD!" How could you NOT find what you're looking for when you have the equivalence of about 5 city blocks worht of books to search through. The only problem I've ever had was trying to find a particular book within the madness of books that is Powells.... read more

Goodfoot Lounge ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "Friday nights are happenin!" The DJ's lay down all sorts of original funk and soul music.
