..... from the fire. I am not that close to the fire. I am fine. I am in NO danger from fire. There is no need to be concerned for my safety ..... okay, so I was just hoping you might have worried (((smiles))) .... but to answer those curiosity requests all at once... here is the situation.

Thursday had really strong winds and the fire is right over the ridge, so could have gone either direction. I have not seen the news at all since I do not have a TV signal. I have not left my new home since fire began due to large amount of work. I can hear the helicopters continuously working therefore I know it is still burning. I did go through Watsonville last night and I am VERY glad that I am not on the smoky side of the fire. The falling ash is not fun. I heard the smoke is reaching north towards San Jose as well. Gilroy ..... as seen in the real time photo .... is clear blue skies. I can see the smoke in the distance. The Fire Fighters are camped in town and 152 appears to remain open.

From here I am fine and comfy. Going to bake a few brownies and take to the firefighter encampment this evening to get the scoop from the source. I would like to say the skies are clear, the wind is now just a breeze, the weather is warm and comfy, and those of you headed this way for the FoF events should not worry at all. I am looking forward to seeing you.

A MOMENT ....

food for thought ........ timing seems right..... Take a DEEP breathe and take in the MOMENT

Take on life these days as easily as you can, although responsibilities are demanding and varied. Remember daily that it is just a MOMENT of time, which passes without much notice. Encourage yourself to breathe in those MOMENTS which warm your heart and touch your soul. Positive MOMENTS will see you through the dark times when held close.

Let go of those issues that drain your strength; the unresolved, the unreliable, the unaccountable, and unnecessary. Don’t allow the weight of others give you cause to be weary. Realize the constant in life is people. Treat them like the treasures they are and rich you will be.

This was sent to me from a friend who included a question ......
"Do you really say all this every DAY?"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxT5NwQUtVM&feature=related

.... he was not a MOM, needless to say.

Well, after I climbed back on to the chair I fell off and dusted the dirt from my bottom,
I replied simply with a very large
                                                                 YES!

..... lol .... I have three boys who swear they can "DO IT MYSELF!"
I hope you chuckle as much as I DID!

Let go and see what happens?
I will get there fast. I might make it!

Pick up my board and walk down?
It will take a long time. I know I will make it!

I know I am not going back in the house to sit and wait for the ocean to get closer. I have already tried that for far too long.
