She can design. She can sew. She can dance. She's a great friend. Donna is probably one of the most passionate women I have had the privilege to know. Her giving spirit is a blessing to her dance sisters and friends; she gives often and generously of her time and her heart. Thanks for being such a fabulous gal, Donna! *Smooch*

This fabulous lady is one of a kind. She is a witty character and to say the least she is talented in countless ways. Every time I see Donna, she makes me laugh. I always want to find something for her to sew for me or create for me just so that I can be in her presence. Thanks Donna for inspiring me and showing me courage, you rock my socks off! ;P xo

Donna was my very first ATS teacher. I can hear "elbows up" still echoing down the corridors in my head.:) She was a fabulous instructor who cared about her students. A talent costumer, inspiring dancer and devoted mom, she's a neat lady- a wonderful asset to the dance community.

But so many of you have actually met her and watched her grow up before your very eyes, I thought I would share with you the news that she is pregnant! Yup, I'm gonna be a grandma! Her husband, who was in Afghanistan returned home early because of a knee injury that required surgery. He is doing pretty good (duh!) and they decided...

As most of you know, I took the month of March off to go to Kuwait to visit with my sweet hubby, who has been working there supporting the Army since August 2005. For the past 2 ½ years, he would come home about every 5 months (that’s the absolute longest we could stand being apart) for about 2 weeks. Last March I went to visit him in Kuwait for about a week during...

I was driving down the highway when the oldest of my 3 younger brothers called me. "Hey sis, it's Brent, I've got some bad news, Chad..." and I tell him, "I'm driving down the highway!" because he was about to tell me something bad had happened to my youngest brother, who had such a bad heartache 2 years ago that he died 3 times before they got him stabilized. No, no, he says, it's not that bad, they had a fire last night and their house burnt to the ground, but everyone got out ok. This i...

I have been thru this event, the gathering at the post gymnasium, once before in 2003 when my son was deployed to Iraq. So I thought I was prepared; I knew what would happen, the procedure, the families gathered, the soldiers with their gear, the tearful goodbyes. If you have not had much experience with being in a military family, it is difficult to...
