well i got my externship site last week. WOOOOOOOT!!!! ill be doing my extern at Rose City Clinic on 57th and Alameda (off sandy). i start on the 15th....and will be working for free till i complete my 160 hours of work.

very exciting....and nerve wracking at the same time. my only concern will be when i have to work the phone triage....with my hearing impairment i worry that i will misunderstand crucial information.... :( but it will be fine.....

i graduate in January....YAY FOR BEING DONE WITH SCHOOOOL!!!!!!

i will have my CMA certification and i plan to go for my EKG and Phelbotomy certifications as well. Very cool!!!! hopefully i get a job quickly as i have MASS student loans to pay off!!! :(

i plan to volunteer my time at outdoor events that will take my services for first aid.... WOOO!!!! all events should have some sort of first aid person that is willing to take time to help those that injure themselves imo....and after talking to DangerGirl....i think that i will also volunteer to be a ranger at Burning Man next year.....
