So Dr! The time has come to face the inevitable gush.
Look away, sweet one for the gavel is about to fall on the imitable Dr. Yo.
I could string sentences together that reflect the complexity of this wonderful man, but I cannot come close to capturing the real Aaron.
So I must be satisfied with a brief snapshot of this gorgeous man.
How could anyone not admire Aaron for his vast knowledge, for his quick analytical mind and cutting wit?
And how could someone not be captivated by his delightful laugh and evil grin?
And who would not melt at being glanced at, with those deep piercing blue eyes?
I confess I have fallen for all these, and more…
Aaron walks with incredible inner strength and sensitivity. He is the smartest guy I have met, and he stimulates and challenges me continuously. His mind is an active fireball of complex word jugglings that draw in fascination.
He is a helpless and hopeless romantic whose soft center melts me. He is unafraid of unraveling beautiful layers that expose vulnerability. He is a wonderful role model of a man who gives so much to others, with an open heart.
He conjures up wonderfully delicious scenarios, over wine and dinner that cause my heart to flutter at just the thought of being with him.
The depth of his mind is unfathomable, with many hidden chambers of brilliance and ingenuity. He is incredibly creative and gifted with brilliant writing, innovative film, and unique music. I admire the drive and passion he has for all he touches.
Radical honesty is something I adore about him. He communicates deeply and genuinely, leaving nothing unmentioned. His warmth and tenderness take my breath away.
He is the most considerate, warm, loving, extraordinarily feeling, inspirational, and lovingly affectionate human being I have met.
You have 'touched' me, Aaron.
I am yours, addicted and afflicted
Love you,
x
Shaz

An authentic dreamer.. With a smile that goes on for miles. I admire that he knows when to adjust his sails.

A cantankerous neighbor, an opinionated lover of truth, a creative and tutelary spirit – I am pleased to know this man and call him a friend.

about me
www.dr-yo.com
In the words of a wise anti-anti-spam algorithm: "Where we can underhandedly cook cheese grits for our bubble bath. When football team from philosopher beams with joy, alchemist defined by cough syrup leaves. Where we can ostensibly sanitize our dolphin. For example, mastodon defined by alchemist indicates that from hydrogen atom buy an expensive gift for tea party beyond dust bunny."
I make psychedelic experimental art video and psychoindustrial music.
DJ action: eight years running a kick ass radio station at www.dr-yo.com, two years of college radio experience at KUSF, where I was Co-Director of Production. Also, I occasionally DJ at parties -- mostly punk rock and its bastard children.
Write books on 3D computer graphics and teach college animation/multimedia. Seven years of study at elitist art schools, culminating in a Master of Fine Art degree in Film/Video.
5'9" nocturnal omnivore. Not a Buddhist, just play one on the Internet.
Computer stuff, dancin' with earplugs, experimental film screenings, bullshitting about art and philosophy.
White-hot intensity, precisely calibrated to 6500 degrees Kelvin. Prefer mind-meld over small talk. INXJ, which means I have a hard outer shell and a soft, creamy center.
For the past three years I have lived in a live/work space that has really been nothing but a drain on my energy, time and resources. We had a few high points, such as Momo's series of performance salons, but basically it's been a wash-out. The level of noise and activity has made me even more insane than before I moved in.
As I write this, someone upstairs is using power tools to grind away at something or other. I don't know what's going on up there, but I assume it's another of the end...

The public education system in this country is not any better than the Catholic system, it really depends more on the politics and economics of the city or neighborhood. The Jesus thing is a problem, yes. But really, most Americans don't learn shi...

Re: What religion are you?
(in Say something intelligent or leave)
Yeah, that's all true. I'm fully aware that humanity is acting as the superego of Gaia, whatever that means. But it's not happening quickly enough for me. Can I fast forward a few hundred or thousand years? We've got 6.66 billion people on the pla...

Obviously none of that rubbish robs *me* of my potential, because I don't believe in it. But religion is always limiting everyone's potential in some way. For example, to be elected President of the United States, one must appear pious and speak o...

Re: What religion are you?

I'll tell you why it bothers me. It robs people of their essential humanity to have their best qualities ascribed to a mythical, inaccessible, undetectable, and for all practical purposes nonexistent figment of overactive imagination. To say that ...
