I apologize to all the friends that I haven't seen on my trip but during Burning Man I was without a bike and it's always so hard to find people. On my trip in Cali I was frequently disconnected from Internet... but I had a lot of fun! :) Anyway I will wait here in Florence for all of you, come and visit me when you are around!

First italian burning weekend - 10/12 october (1 hour north of Rome)

Did you not recover yet from post playa depression?
Do you miss playa hugs from random burners?
Do you feel sad of having lost BM this year?

Book your low cost flight ticket now and join italian burners on friday october 10th till sunday 12th for a burning weekend played around the 10 principles mixed with italian hosting culture! (yes we are talking about food and wine and the rituals that our culture has developped over two thousand years)

Location is a wild italian country house 1 hour north of Rome with a large kitchen and a huge fireplace in the cozy living room camping space will be arranged bring your tent your furry coats and your love!

We'll provide accomodation in Rome through couchsurfing.com for Thursday night and Sunday night if needed
(and of course www.couchsurfing.com/orseolo will be the base of the operations in Rome)

Talking about the agenda it is quite open we can plan and decide whatever we like (remember you are not a spectator eh eh) we will try to build a man and burn it of course! We'll have a sound system and probably some vj facilities
but this is not a party so we are building a number of activities that through the 10 principles. Will drive you towards a celebration of the positive side of italian culture!

PARTICIPATE
We need artists, dj's, cooks, dish washers, carpenters, engineers but most of anything we need burners at the moment we just need your ideas!
Close to the event we will need your hands and on the "playa" we will need your passion!

COSTS
We are working on the evaluation of the total costs of the event these will include camping accomodation, food and all the drinks for the 3 days we are trying to keep it cheap around 25 euros per day per person(assuming 10 euros for general expenses and 15 euros for food and drinks)

A request to all my friends...

It is a week already that I am stuck in my bed, last Tuesday a car hit me on my scooter. Luckily I don't have any serious wound but my left leg is recovering very slowly and I need to start my Burning Man preparation as soon as I can. The placement are out:

And for this reason (and because my leg not so strong) I am hardly trying to find a bike. I have a wonderful friend who has offered me a bike but she is not sure if she can bring it and her spare bike is not so good... so I am asking to all you my friends if anyone has a spare bike or knows someone that has a spare bike for me. I can even pay for it but I rather not buy one because I don't know where to put it after Burning Man.

I am still planning my second trip in US and in Black Rock City with a huge quantity of messages that are waiting for my reply, an insane social life (in a good way :)) and my mind still Nowhere. Anyway it seems that this Year I will camp with the Conexus Radiance Factory:

Now that I know how works the magic of the playa I am sure that I will meet many of my friends randomly during my playa time...!!! :)

Anyway if you wanna try to find me I will volunteer on Monday 4 - 6 pm in the Regional Network Center with Matteo.
I will try to visit the CouchSurfing camp for the meeting on Monday at 7pm.
I will try to be at the Euroburners meeting on the Quixote Cabaret & Club and we will have our camp party on Wednesday.

My body is back...

...but my mind is Nowhere. This Year a lot more than last Year. Well is a good feeling at least, even if I can't sleep yet. :)

Going back Nowhere and Burning Man!

After a wonderful and crazy party to celebrate the first anniversary of my 29th birthday (:P) like I haven't seen in Italy since ever I am having a totally busy week preparing everything to go Nowhere! The No Chance Saloon will be my home in the desert of Spain for a week and I can't wait to see again all my wonderful Euroburners!!!

In the meantime I finally got my plane tickets for Unite States! I am flying in San Francisco the 20th of August to have some days before Burning Man preparing and packing everything and I am going back the 14th of September. After Burning Man I will probably travel around California. I must still decie where I will camp at Burning Man but let's keep in contact with all of you my American friends to see if we can meet when I am in the States! :)
