"The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this:
A human creature born abnormally, inhumanely sensitive. To them a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is lover, a lover is a god, and failure is death. Add to this cruelly delicate organism the overpowering neccessity to create, create, create-- so that without the creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning, their very breath is cut off... They must create, pour out creation. By some strange, unkown, inward urgency, they are not really alive unless they are creating.

Shayna rocks.
Her creativity flows so naturally. She is earthy, eccentric, and wise. She will do, discover and create great things in her life and the lives of those who know her. So many mountains, so little time.

about me
I am a very passionate and creative soul that has yet to find her path in life. I must admit the need to do something great and important and my fear that I won't be able to accomplish this. It very probably has more to do with the town I live in, and less to do with me. I live in a small town in the pacific northwest, I lived here most my life and I would be lying if I said I didn't have a very strong connection with this place. However I've discovered by talking with people, and for myself, the odd vortex this place seems to be. It might have as much to do with the beauty and innocence as is does with the supernatural, but the love-hate relationship here is common with most people.
I love this place, and I know when I leave, when I set out to make my mark on the world, this place will be here to serve as a safe-haven, somewhere I can go when I feel exhuasted and weary, and for that I will probably return. But I hope it is only after I have accomplished whatever it is I seem driven to do.
Anyways I feel like I'm writing a memoir here or something lol... But thats me, a writer at heart. I love words, beautiful words, and I love how they intermingle with one another to convey an emotion or a thought, or a wonderment, or.....
Well thats me, well some of me, okay probably only a very small amount of me, but if its at all interesting, please feel free to ask me more... I am an interesting person, I think...

When I look at a page, or a journal, or a computer screen for that matter, I feel the urge to write something, great... Something poignant, something wonderful, something that puts on paper some small aspect of the human condition. Some small aspect that I can eloquently put into words to make the existential lightbulb go off in the readers head. I am always delighted when it is my existential lightbulb that goes off; I greatly appreceiate when a writer can successfully capture so beautifuly ...

Customer-service is no easy task. I could recound a thousand and one stories that would probably make an amazing comedy act. In fact my father (DragonWire) was the one to point that out.
When you hear someone say "The customer is always right..." the person issuing forth this mistaken gobblydook is;
A: a useless boss/manager who either doesn't have to deal with the customers, or even more likely they just see great big dollar signs.
B: people who have never worked in the service i...
