I was in this amazing relationship workshop this last Sunday ( www.celebratingmen.com), which I highly recommend to all women having trouble relating to men, and I heard this most excellent, most accurate definition of high maintenance...
"High maintenance is not when a woman has lots of wants, needs or demands. It's when she's difficult to please."

I awoke to sadness this morning. Nothing major or earth shattering. Just sad. Mostly about my love life and sex life.
It doesn't happen much these days. But when it does, I just need to honor it, roll with it. Can't force it off or deny it really. Well, I CAN, but I don't do all the things that used to accomplish that ultimately painful feat.

I danced my heart out this morning. Did my usual Sunday morning stint at Fumbling Toward Ecstasy, which is the west side's version of Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms ecstatic dance practice. It was soooo good this morning. Not just the dancing, or the music, or the friends I connected with and new ones I made. But the whole vibe and energy of it, for me, today was awesome. Which really means it was the space **I** was in.
