I seek experience so i can feel innocent. Is it the loss of innocence itself that is enticing? It is forcing growth in a way; making myself become green again, so that i won't rot. I put up a mirror that reflects, both the flattering and unflattering qualities that i possess. In doing so, I must confront my issues in order to divorce them, or at least to make peace with and understand them. It's exhausting, and I find myself turning further inward. living and dying we feed the Fire
I climbed a redwood today.
the redwood had been blown down by a mighty winter wind. The crash must have been tremendous.
The gigantic tree was still very much alive. It's green needles shining in the sun. It's gnarled roots thrust upward, towards the sky; revealing a gaping hole where they'd once nestled in loamy soil.
