When all the world around you rages,
& the worst of what you have imagined comes true…
when every back turns, & every eye fails to meet yours,
even if you are being lied about, & your name dragged through the city sewers
do not walk then in disgrace Pure-Ones…
but hold your head high & look towards Spirit for companionship.
In a wordless language, Spirit says,
“I am here, even in your most sorrowful secret sufferings…”
Even now these words are mending your wound-weary soul,
let Spirit’s love lead you home,
where the smiles are as sincere & meaningful as Grandmother’s hugs,
as holy as lovers lips parted in a kiss of sweet tender affections,
as unashamed & guilt-free as tears falling from innocent eyes.
Out there in the void, those man-made streets of steel & concrete…
there are tragedies that even tears cannot describe,
but none so great a mistake as the cruelty of not caring.
Listen with your heart Pure-One,
& know that Spirit is with you in every rise & fall of breath,
in every joy & sorrow,
every laughter & pain that goes unnoticed…
Spirit says, “We’re all broken, just in different ways…
& this is how we mend.”
To care for the one who seeks to tear you down,
to offer honest heartfelt prayers
for the one who longs for your destruction…
to ask with all your being that they be blessed by the Great Oneness,
& to know in the end that though you be wounded
by knives of the thoughtless,
they cannot cut you so deep
that Love won’t then come & fill that wound
with an overwhelming capacity for compassion.
Remember who & what you really are,
see yourself & others through the eyes of Spirit,
& know at last, that we are all beautiful in the Heart of God…
& all will be forgiven of their inconsistencies,
all will be welcomed into the boundlessness of Becoming!
& in the end Wild-Love, you cannot be diminished,
you cannot be abandoned or forgotten,
for you are held in the soul of Source,
& one day, when all dualities have dissolved
even your worst enemy will become a part of you,
even as they have always been,
& then you can smile & be amused that you have been tortured so
by the wisps of nothing that surround our lives…
I am here with you, in this moment of utter un-certainty,
& wherever you may follow the trails of your heart…
know this most of all,
existence is a great wide Unknown
& though you seem lost at times
you are never left alone…
Dreaming-Bear is always within you.
