Known as "Jean Yanagawa" to my Troupe and students. With over 25 years of Middle Eastern belly dance experience, with more than half that time as an instructor with the Honolulu Club, Moiliili Community Center, and Kaimuki Community School for Adults, Dept. of Education, State of Hawai`i.
• NO CLASS at Honolulu Club on Sat Nov 21 from 11:20 am - Noon • BellyDance808 will perform at The Mayor's Annual Country & Craft Fair, Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall • Mahalo for everyone's kokua and understanding as I recover/rehab my right-hand injured in a fall... classes and rehearsals are a "GO", no finger cymbals for me for a awhile =(

“Jean Yanagawa” conducts this continuing session of six (6) classes for Experienced Dancers incorporate fundamental Salimpour Technique© and fine-tune Contemporary Modern Egyptian movements and transitions. Classes focus on developing advance and performing skills, Troupe choreography, advance finger cymbal patterns, musical interpretation, complex layering, and working with props ~ veil, cane, sword, etc.
