In the tradition of Shamans, in order to attain the gifts of the all, a certain level of the underworld tests must be passed. Mother earth will give you a sacred stone if you pass a certain level. I passed mine and had a dream during that time. In the dream I was in Montana and a group of seven native men with one chief whose chest was painted with red paint, told me that who I was, would be written on a stone and it will fall from the sky.

Six months later it did. A dark stone with an image of a jaguar woman, where her face is semi-transparent on the stone and the only part of the stone you can see light reflect from the other side, lighting up her face when you hold it up to the sun. Even the seven native elders who were in the dream in caves are seen in the stone, just like the dream.

Earthy stones rather than gems, are universally available wisdom, having been used since the Goddess Cul(ures) to mark circles of sacred space, circles of protection, labyrinths, direction of spirits and a way to become grounded by mimicking stones presence and destination of being fully present, balance within form. Some like the Inuit call them Obos, a Dreamway, aboriginals call it Dreamtime and still others call it Dream gates. Whatever we call obos, these stones are used as a "Meeting places for fellow Dreamers, Shamans and Shaman Dreamers and Dreamway farers". Symbolically meaning the stone by stone path of self mastery, through a path of healthy eating, sleeping, dreaming that leads to our connection to mother earth in the noble acts of creation without illusions or illusion causing substances.

In my dreaming I have seen many things. Like the first time I met my apprentice Kathy. I had a dream circle two years ago in which 13 seats were set up. 12 including mine were taken and one was empty. As a suggestion to the dreamers I wanted to see who was aware in dreamtime and who was not. So i assigned a task to everyone, that at the next dream medicine circle, the night before that following month, we would all meet at the Cahokia Mounds. Six of the twelve showed up that night in dreamtime and I was actually surprised that many did. I met Kathy the next day would had not met me in this world yet, and she told me she heard about my dream circle but could not come to it that night, but ended up dreaming at the Cahokia Mounds with me.

This is a real living example of dreamway or dreamtime, when you remember with full awareness and you are on the earths astral planes, in present, future or past and can direct your dreaming reality. I have many more examples, and I thought I would share one.
