Adira on the mend

Adira (Karen) continues her recovery after surgery. Wednesday night she came to our dance club meeting, but was very good and did not dance at all.

Her new shop in Willow Glen continues to be staffed by wonderful volunteers from both dance genres... She stopped in for a few hours Wednesday, and I expect her to make more appearances in the days ahead as she can spend more time on her feet.

Wow, Tribe sicker than I thought

I had hoped that all the 'maintenance' work on Tribe was to make it better.

I'm starting to lose hope on that.... The images today are not showing up 100%, and yesterday I could not get into Tribe at all.

Neighbor

We met this guy while walking the dogs the other evening... he seemed completely unfazed by the dogs being there.

He looks and acts just like one of our cats....

Mustard on pizza?

Am I out of touch? Who puts mustard on pizza?

We had some Wednesday night...., but we won't be ordering that again... musta been a specialty?

Los Trancos weekend

Well, it was damn-hot on Saturday around here... but we were smart enough not to join the hordes heading to the beach.

But with Sunday a wee bit cooler, we looked for something interesting to do. I chose to visit the "Los Trancos Open Space Preserve." We picked a short trail that provided some educational information about the San Andreas fault, and gave us some much-needed (although mild) exercise.

Walk'n the dogs

While the general idea is to walk the dogs (and ourselves) every day, it doesn't always work out.

Sunday I picked a particular destination, away from our normal route... We ended up following our noses to the local pizza place across from our house... since the dogs were with us, we ate outside... but it was particularly cold that evening.

Sacramento, Part 2

Oops... I may have misled folks into thinking that my prior post had a photo of a dog. Sorrry. No, it's a wolf.

We attended a fundraiser for "HOWL" in Old Sacramento, which was combined with a "networking" event for photographer and models. Got to meet a great group of people.
