Not sure whether Google is what you're looking for.
What are you trying to teach? Or, even better, are you gonna be at Pennsic? This is a bit of a shot in the dark, and it may not be what you're looking for, but it could still give you an idea of what things are out there (for free). And, I should say upfront that I am very biassed, because it is Vincent's work - they have a tutor development toolkit, and it is used by non-programmers to develop web-based tutors. The target users include educators and teachers. The toolkit, called CTAT, is here: ctat.pact.cs.cmu.edu/ As an example, a website developed with CTAT, to bring the entire middleschool math curriculum on the web (very much under development right now!!!) is here: webmathtutor.org/ - the tutors are developed locally, using CTAT, by non-programmers, and then magic happens (I have never worked with CTAT, so I am not familiar with the amount of work required for setup), and they are accessible through the web. Is that anything like what you are looking for? There are other, similar tools out there by other research groups, as well. |
