Sometimes I get this feeling. As if there is a shift in time, a shift in my life. But it is always a shift who's effects won't come until months from now. I am my own fortune cookie. So it has been an interesting week. First, disappointment, then death, followed by the happiness of being with my family at a wedding, and finally another death of someone very special. My Uncle Bud died this week. He was my mom's only brother and my most special Uncle. He has been the complete focus of my thoughts for the last week and I miss him hugely even though I really didn't get to see him very much. Today I realized something I already knew. You are the actions you choose. You are not the words you speak, or that others speak unto you. You are a product of your own decisions. Choices are gifts of opportunity. Life is what you make of it. Choose strength.
