Long long ago......
in a space continuum not so far away,
I looked to the moon, and felt loss.
I looked at it again, and realized that it wasn't just mine.
It was a collective loss of all the people in the world.
And through sharing our losses, we gained each other's strengths.
My heart then beamed, and I noticed that the moon shone more brightly that any other night ever before....
I had always felt more of a connection to the sun until that night.
I think it had something to do with the stars..
Now the moon and I have an understanding between us.

For the moon appears to be a lonely orb
Silent and silvery, or obtuse and golden.
However, it is not lonely. It is alone.
Its aloneness is divine and spiritual.
To be alone is to feel solitude in its purest form
Free of outside influences....
The sun is so needy and giving at the same time.
The moon just is.
This moon reflects how I feel,
And right now I feel raw and optimistic.
