Wow...I've been thinking of writing a testimonial for August for a good while now; the challenge though is there's so much to her, it's hard to figure out what to write.

When I look at August I see someone who radiates love in whatever she does. Whether it's being the listener when someone needs someone to talk to, the enforcer when things that are suppose to be done aren't, or the person who needs a listener in times of trouble, when I see her do things and hear her speak, it's hard to look past the love and kindness that comes from her.

Thank you, August for making the Citadel available to me not only as a place space, but as a place for to figure out what I want and what I deserve, a place for me to grow as both a kinkster and a human being, and most of all, as someone who's never really felt they fit in anywhere a place where I feel I belong.

One of the first people I met on my first day in the Scene, at my first public party, was August. It was Phil's birthday and I had gone to my first ever munch earlier that day. Hadn't even thought about being kinky, much less going out to find others who were participating in a kink community. This was just another 'brilliant' idea (har, har) from the man I've been married to for over 20 years.

So, there I was. Sorta off to the side, in the midst of people who obviously all knew each other, and-from the looks of it- probabaly all lived together.j Talk about feeling like an outsider.

Just when I was ready to grab rick's hand and head for the hills, August came up to be and started talking to me. Somehow she knew just the right thing to say, what would tickle my funny bone and make me feel special at the same time. "Well, you look like a candidate to be a _________ __________ Bitch (name of a group of good friends). I didn't know what the group title really meant, but Gawd knows I had always wanted to be seen kinda dangerous. Here was the beautiful woman, coming up to me, and basically telling me I was at home and accepted.

She wasn't doing this as the Proprietress of the venue. She was going out of her way, in a room full of her friends, to help a scared newbie feel comfortable, saying just the right thing.

This thoughtfulness and and sensitivity has been given to me time and time again by Ms. Vixen. Just last night, when I was chatting about some of the interpersonal relationships I was involved with, she took the time and trouble in a horrendously busy party to help me understand the customs and ways of relating that were baffling me. Thank you so much, Ms. Vixen, for keeping me out of trouble.

Plus she sure looks hot, dressed to the max in black leather, slinky dress and fabulous jewelry.

I love her alot and I want to be like her when I grow up.

There is only one Ms.Vixen in my eyes and August is her! She's by far the sexiest woman I know and in the short time I've known her has opened my eyes to a lot of new experiences and feelings. August cares about her friends and treats us as family and I know that my life has been much enriched since I've become friends with her.
