Okay so I just got word that Cleo has had a few cancellations for her upcoming Intensive (This Weekend) I really must share with my Girlfriend's the wonderful and enlightening experience her Intensive's are. I cant believe its been almost a year since the last SF Pride Parade and here we are busy planing the Parade for the end of next month, Last Sunday in June ! Yup we are planing a smaller float for this year. Erik will be heading off that committee for decorating of the truck. we'll have players in the back of the Citadel Float playing. Our plan is to talk to Rebecca about having the Ponies and the carts behind the folks who want to participate with Citadel in this most remarkable experience. Phil will be driving the Truck this year and let me just say, he has assured me that "WE WILL NOT BE RUNNING this year !! If you've never walked in the parade, its amazing, the feel and the energy as you round the corner onto Market street ! please join us Sunday, June 29th for SF Pride March with SF Citadel. So i didn't think it was fair to not let folks know why I've not been attending that many parties and that I had mentioned health issues and Blood work. . Today I got my results from one of my tests. I am now a Diabetic. but the testing is not over I have to get a ultra sound done of My heart. there is a slight concern of Congenital Heart Failure. which wouldn't be to surprising because I smoke. ya ya I know.. My father died of that at the ripe old age of 83. Ive enjoyed pretty decent health over the years. nothing really to complain to much about. Fuck, I feel like and old person Talking about health issues !! silly ....So more testing once I return from Texas, I leave tuesday. I was seriously hoping for the " fast fix" of swollen legs, feet and ankles that hurt so badly and are mostly numb always, kind of a strange combination I know, pain and numbness?. Its hard to walk or stand to even do a decent SCENE, its hard to sit and as you sit feeling your legs an ankles and feet swell. I refuse to lay in Bed, I've got to Much to do ! ! Its not gonna be a Fast Fix after all. But Life's changes in 2008, What that exactly means for me. I guess that means get healthy, in whatever I have to do to make that happen . I guess all my fetish wear an cute shoes, are just gonna have to stay in the closet until I get my Issues sorted! I know I've not been around very much for parties. I want everyone who might have noticed that its Not because I don't want to be here . its because after working the space all week long by the time the weekend comes, I just don't have the energy for parties. I've been having a few health issues for several months now which has kept me from playing and participating as much as I normally would have liked to. its not like me to put something out onto Tribe about my health, Im pretty Private about almost everything personal but it had been mentioned to me that I've not been seen as much . Last week I had a series of blood tests done. (Not the first series) the results I'll get this week, I hope. Im sure its all good and that everything is fine. like I said, I hate putting my shit on Tribe. I promise you wont hear me whining about Health after this Post.! Anyways thats all I really have to say Hugs, August

Times shared with new friends and old friends, that fact that we all seem to co-exist and enhance each other in some way. Ya know sometimes change is good ... like in this particular instance Phil and I have been living for the past 15 years on top of each other in an In Law apartment. I mean, good thing we get along so well or we might have killed each other! lol.. Well, we finely found the perfect place to move to, a VERY long time in coming ... Phil gets really stressed out with change, I do at times, but not in what I see as a positive change. This to me is very very positive. We get out of Oakland and away from that tiny place.. And into someplace where I feel we can grow. We are going to be moving to San Francisco, which makes perfect sense to me. I mean Phil works in the City, we have Citadel, which is in the city, and now we'll actually have a place to escape to that’s close by, in the damn CITY .. This makes me soooooooo happy! I might actually be able to come home! We'll have a back yard that’s truly lovely, all landscaped, NO STAIRS Yay) Parking is really, really good, we have a washer dryer in the apartment, a Huge Kitchen which means we can have a table and chairs! (Um yeah, that’s sort of a big deal to me) and the best thing about this is .. Its Not a Square Box, it actually has charm to it, personality! Oh, did I mention I can have a DOG !!??? Yipppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy a little Zeus..... So Move in is Dec 1st, the new place is on Pierce Street Phil and I not being as young as we used to be (cough cough, wink wink)... could really use some help. Me with Packing our old place and some help on actually moving into the new space ... Pretty Please ?? A Special thanks goes out to Charlie for hooking us up with a friend of his ..

Folsom Week Madness 2007

Okay, so it’s that time of year yet again, when the "Madness" starts ... next week we have a huge line up of events www.sfcitadel.org and if your planning on attending I just know you'll have a wonderful time! Next week all the prep work for Citadel gets underway. Folsom for me means I'm going to be so damn tired, but in the end it will be so rewarding. I'll have met a bunch of new people from out of town and get to see their happy faces when they come and check us out. Funny thing that I've noticed over the years is this. Saturday Night of next week, I'll come up stairs after getting ready, and the whole Place will be all "Out of Towner's", I look around and think who are these people anyways! So I hope to see a lot of our regulars as well. Just so I don't feel like I'm in another country and because Phil and I are always happy to see you! . Oh, I know we'll have our "little issue's” we always do, but that 's just what makes it more interesting and entertaining to watch it unfold. I just hope that health wise I can get dressed the way I want to and be comfortable, if not, then Its Jeans and Cowboy boots, which would be a shame, cause I'm having the most amazing Corset made and I wanted to wear it Saturday Night. But Jeans and Cowboy boots at least would cover up my issues. Come Monday Phil and I will be Dead! Well, not really but we are sure going to be tired and over it! The following Weekend after Folsom, we're taking 3 days and returning to Capitola for a much needed mini break. Someday I hope that we can take a longer vacation, it’s been years. So, I want to thank everyone in advance for Volunteering, your time for these upcoming events. And if your not volunteering and coming to party I hope you have a wonderful Folsom Week with us at SF Citadel! Much Love and Happy Folsom Everyone! August xo

About Last Night ....

Okay, so last night I had an amazing time with a woman I had asked out on a date ( I have to tell you, I was more then alittle nervous asking her out; my life has been rather stressfull lately, and I'm so pleased I did) .. yeah I know, your Probably thinking, "well it must have been a play date" .. Your wrong .. It was a Simple dinner and a Movie . I found Meghan , warm, educated, sexy and a real Joy to spend time with. What a delightful young woman!!.. We never made to it to movies .. I found myself just really happy to be with Meghan, and spend some quiet time talking ..Who needed a Damn Movie?! I know I didn't.. I Look forward to seeing much more of her, we seem to have alot of the same interests and she loves Objectification!! So whats Not to Love about that ?? Thank you Meghan, for reminding me of the simple joys that one often forgets in a Community like ours..
