Yeah, I'd go with the hand wash. Don't worry, they'll be fine I'm sure. As was said, just don't wring them or twist them up. The idea of hand washing is to be gentle.

Real satin? or a shiney spandex type of satin? It they are real satin, you should hand wash. Otherwise they'll shrink and lose their shine. if they're more of a spandex then a satin, they'll machine wash fine. Look at the label.
