Monique has been the best friend one could ever ask for, and I have been lucky enough to have her as a friend for some time now.
Some would say that it takes a tough life, a life full of hardships, to teach someone the wisdom, grace, acceptance, positivity, determination, and other virtues that she has in full stock. I might agree. But she never lets on, filled with inspiration and enthusiasm enough for several rockstars.
So many times she has told me just what I needed to hear, in 90 words or less, and exactly on time. Her advice skills are only rivalled by her ability to take her own, and live out life with vigor and passion.
Such a beautiful, wise beyond years, skillful, wonderful woman I am honored to count among my closest friends.
