Awesome! I grew up not *too* far from Mobile (near Pensacola), so I know the culture down there can be a harsh place when it comes to people feeling they have a right to judge one based on *their* perceived gender-appropriateness of the activity ...

TC has heavy-duty Khaos fans that are practice-friendly and performance-friendly. I have the lightweight ones and still prefer them, but one of my collaborator buddies just got the heavy-duty ones and I use her to practice new things all the time ...

+++ amazing weekend! Yeesh. Gettin' slowly caught up with you freaks now...
Spent the last three days relaxing by the pool at the in-law's place, eating BBQ, drinking rum drinks and generally having a fabulously relaxing time.

Posting the new pics in a moment of the brand-spankin' new and utterly ridiculous poi wick covers that I just made. They're the first thing I have patterned out for myself, too. I think they turned out absurdly lovely!
