Well, its that day again. I turn 49 today.

As I approach my house the street is blocked off by no less than eight fire trucks and a host of other smaller fire/police vehicles. Flames are coming out of the garage and roof of the house. There must have been 100 people there.

Well, its that day again. I turn 49 today.
This past year or so has seen the highest highs and lowest lows of my life.
I am thankful for the people I have met this past year, for it is you all who made
the highest highs possible. Life is about change lately, good and bad. As I close out
my first 1/2 century this year I want to be grateful for what life has given me and let go of
those thngs I must to find my path and my happiness.

Dave is one of the most wonderful men that I have had the honor of knowing and loving. He is kind, sadistic, funny, intelligent, creative and a great person in general. I love the way he thinks at times and his love of books is great as is his logic. Though things didn't work for us for right now, I still love him and still believe him to be one of the better people I know in the scene. One of the only men whom I have met who has made me smile instantly the moment I met him and made me squirm with his first comment. When I first met him again, things just clicked between us and things went from there. Lives get busy and stressful and so we are taking a break. But he is the only man I have felt safe enough to be truly myself with, and thats saying alot. I loved him as my daddy and in my heart , any man who comes along will have to amount up to what I had with him. Because he helped build my standards pretty darn High.

I liked Dave the moment I met him! As it tuns out my instincts were right as I have found him to be one of the most brilliant, compassionate, deviant, evolved, non-dysfunctional people I know.
He is an incredibly level headed man and even in times of extreme crisis he keeps his wits about him, (a skill I am hoping he will teach me). He has a wonderful and rare ability to be able to set aside his own troubles to help another with theirs and that is a rare find in a person worth knowing and a friend worth keeping. I have had to call upon his friendship, as of late, and found him not lacking in empathy and kindness in any measure.
If I were to go into battle, Dave would be someone I would want at my side because of his unwavering loyalty.
Dave...I love you but more importantly, I respect you.

Daddy Dave is an interesting fellow. When you first meet him, if you're like me you might think he's mean and scary cause of the beard and long hair but in reality he's just a big cuddly bear! Daddy Dave loves to spoil and take care of little girls, and big girls too and he's one of the sweetest, kindest men I've ever met. As far as play goes, I'm too scared to actually play with him cause he's a sadistic bastard but I've heard great things!
