I'm gettin old(but it beats the piss out of the alternative)a lot of men who were better than me never made it this far. I've been ridein' bikes for a long time,and have owned a bunch of em'. H-Ds and others. If you see me on the Road,Don't wave.I gave up on that years ago,because I got tired of posers tryin' to figure out if I was "worth" wavin' too. When I do pass one of "My People" we just know,and smile,and maybe nod. My bikes are what I like to call "minimalest" bikes,meaning that if you take ANYTHING off,it won't run. A few things that really bug me.... Mini-vans with the big "Bar & Shield" stickers in the rear window,guys on V-Rods wearing the "iron cross" people that ride in shorts and sneakers.People that sit at traffic lights reving there motors,while holding in the clutch w/with the bike in gear.(one day the cable WILL SNAP) . People that refer to something as "CUSTOM" when it's not. After all is it really custom if you can pick up another one just like it off of a shelf ? "BILLET" ...need I say more? People that don't know the meaning of the word "rare" when listing a bike,and/or state "never been in the rain" Ten year old bikes with 1500 miles on them.People that buy/sell bikes,helmets,jackets and boots all at the same time.$5000.00 paint jobs.Wind screens,heated seats,cup/change holders and trailers behind OR under a bike)! Really wide rear tires. And anything that says" Live to ride-ride to live" it jusy don't have the same meaning anymore.
