Andrew Meyer and Senator Kerry and crowd of onlookers

Amazed - that is my first response - not to police reaction - not to the elevated emotional state of Mr. Meyer - not to the stoic presence that has become known as the Kerry stare - but amazed at all the onlookers - the gawkers - the vid phoner's and amateur camera people - the news media that was present and basically all that stood by and watched.

I love how now that the "emergency" is over, everyone there is jumping on the band wagon of action!!! How about getting out of your fear seat and standing up and saying no - peaceful disobedience - placing yourself between the overzealous taser gamers and that of Mr. Meyer.

Stand up and say no to brutality lest you be next to be dragged away...

Anyone recall this little ditty?

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

Pastor Martin Niemöller

The media has constructed a world of watchers... Oh sure it is all documented and there are acres of rhetoric being spun by the doctors - The fear that is in place is a great testament to that very factor.

Here is a notion not unlike finding moop on the playa and picking it up - if you are witness to an injustice - Act upon it! Stop it! For every act that slips on by is another item of social Moop we all have to deal with and the pile is already way too high.

Don't let anyone who was there fool you with stories of "I tried to...." Bahhhh!!! There are so many posts of it on youtube you can see people not 2 feet away from the action shoving their camera phones right into the action - so nice that Motorola stood between free speech and taser guns.

I can only hope that when they come for me for my expression of free speech here someone might just get i the way and say to the men with guns that what they are doing is wrong and they wont just stand by and allow it.

But that is just me... Maybe I am wrong...

PS My "n" key sticks a bit so any omission of one is a technical malfunction
