The soundfiles are useless as the drums arent tuned at all.

Anyone ever paint the inside of their drum to improve sound?

If so did it work and what did you use? The inside of my doumbek is rough and Id like to make the inside a nice smooth glassy surface. This is not a big deal just thought it might be a fun project with noticable results.
