The Big Questions
Mon, June 11, 2007 - 7:13 PMBecause I am Tantric, I see all sex as sacred. In Tantra nothing is taboo. And in my life nothing is taboo. Why do I love sex so much? It is because sex to me is a form of worship. The body is a temple worthy of worship. There are two aspects of each human being. The spiritual and the physical. Few people understand that the two can and should be one. The way I see God, God is one entity consisting of two characteristics, one feminine the other masculine. In tantra the male phallus, generative organ, Lingham is the physical manisfestation of God in the flesh. The Yoni, the female generative organ, the vagina, is the feminine aspect of God. Both worhty of worship.
To me the phallus is not only God as man, but his birth, his growing up and his becoming a man. The flaccid penis is God at rest. When it is growing it is God as man growing, becoming. When fully erect the phallus is God as man, powerful, compelling, ominous. The phallus being the representation of God in man is God. I see the phallus, the penis, as worthy of honor, praise and worship. The penis itself is magical. In ancient times, also like now, when people approached or entered a place or worship it was customary and respectful to kneel during worship, this brought you closer to God. As does it during sex. When I kneel before God I am there to worship. Because we can't see God himself we have the lingham, the phallus, the penis as physical manifestation of God in human form. To me when I am oral with a phallus I am worshipping.
In ancient India and even now, lingham stones which were representation of the phallus were annointed with oil. When I worship the oil is saliva. Just like if you were reading about Christ you hear of him from stories told, then his birth. To me the flaccid phallus is that time in his life. As it grows that is the time when he is becoming, growing, becoming known. During this time much nurturing must occur. This growing time is a time of learning and responding. To me this is a very special time. When God is man in the flesh he is more than worthy and deserving of worship. Baptism is immersion in water, to me saliva is water for penile submersion.
To me worship is not something you rush through. It is a time of devotion. A time of giving of oneself without regard for your wants or needs. Worship is God centered. In any religious belief serving and pleasing God is the main concern, as it is mine. A pleased God provides blessings. When one thinks of Gos one thinks of God as all powerful and all knowing. This also applies to the phallus. It has the power to give life and to die and be resurrected. God, not unlike the penis, is the giver of life. Knowing God comes through study and commitment and worship. And worship is not something you do sometimes. It is something that you do without thinking about it. It is constant and part of you.
Woship and prayer happen in teh same ways, on your knees. Prostration is a long tradition in most all religions, even in tantra. Submission is a must. No one can make God do anything. Its God who makes things happen or allows it to happen. Devotion, commitment and worship please God. Pleasing God is pramount to me. the phallus is the physical manifestation of God, so I worship.
I take pleasure in worshipping because I can see God, feel God, and taste God. God is real to me. God is not some far off diety. God is here with us, asking us to love him as he does us, giving us the chance to please him. I anoint Gods head with "oil." Then I adore him and worship him. God reacts to me when I worship him. His pleasure is evident immediately. My heart and my body a filled with his presence. My mouth is his temple, a place where he is for worship. This is what is meant by being filled with the holy spirit. When I worship my blood pressure rises and my body tingles. These are the signs that God is in me.
We all have gifts given to us by God. Semen is the physical manifestation of that gift. It is the gift of eternal life. How is that? Men ceate and dispurse semen throughout their lives, they don't run out. Its regenerative. Semen is immortal so to speak. All of life is contained in semen. Acdepting the gift of eternal life is the main tenent of manhy religions. I give or myself so that god can give me eternal life. My love for God is Agape like. It has no alterior motive, or desire for myself. I do so to please God. Which also pleases me.
The yoni is the bodily temple of God, a place of worship. When a man worships the yoni, the vagina, it is worshipping God. When a man enters a woman he becomes one with her. This is God in us. When a man has intercourse he is essentially having sex with God. God is there. The yoni is the place one enters to worship. Churches are open to all. Rarely is there discrimination. All are welcome to enter. A temple is not just for certain people. It is for all who desire to worship. My body is also a temple. the church is God's house. It where God resides, and not just in the building, the body of God is the people. A church is a building. The body is the temple.
To me when a man enters a woman they are not two people. They are one. Oneness happens during sex. This oneness is also becoming one with God. This is why sex is sacred. Anything that arouses God and makes others aware is Godly. Accepting God in you is enrichment for the soul. When God is in you life is as it should be. You are fulfilled and filled at the same time. God is present and you can feel him.
A temple invites all to worship, any number, any race. My body is a temple. So, to me sex isnt just sex, its worship. I am with God during sex, and God is in me. A woman who has just had sex has a glow about her. this is God resonating from her. So, sex is more to me than just sex or two or more people f--king. Its holy. It is worship, oneness with God.
Being tantric I feel a connection with Shakti, as men are Shiva. Only when the two are joined are they one. Oneness is important to me. Being with God is important to me. Pl;easing God is important to me.
So, why do I enjoy sex so much? Because it is time spent with God.

Reflections on Tantra
Dear Amber, your text is disarming. I see it as a work of genius also. I am christian-raised and never saw my God the way you present Him. All in your reflection is logical and, I would say, harmonious. Following real and natural principles. My own and personnel interrogation, after reading this, is : Is my God too much far from me, my world, my universe, my hopes, my beliefs...... Cherished Amber, you have touched a point there. Thanks for the introspection you are provoking. Thanks to help me to put my eyes closer to the life and closer to the Truth.

Wonderful discussion
Well said, Amber. This explains why we should be doing more of what we enjoy so much, instead of abstaining from it. I never understand people who consider sex as taboo, or even as sin. Granted, 'folk litt forskjellige', but I think there's no point in it.
