Hi dance Guru's! I am counting down the days until I head to NY for intensive training with Morocco, Tayyar, Joe Williams, Azmara, Ayshe, Tarik and many others! I will be out of town for about 2 weeks with privates and classes every day. I am also celebrating the addition of Dan, our flute/sax player to the Ensemble Al Asdeka, as his music has made a GREAT addition to the collective! Know any kanoon players in the GR area? Musicians pictured is Dan on Right, Kathy on Tabla's and Adam on guitar.

After just returning from Orlando (LOVE the heat) as well as trining with Morocco in Peoria IL, and returning from Memorial Day's "Folk Tours 2006"( with Tayyar, Artemis, Sahra Saheed, Karim) I am excited and ready to embark on a new avenue of my studies...TURKISH dance! I love it, so wild and free, reminds me of the energy I first started with dance with.
