I've recently shot both the 2007 EEMED show and a new showcase show called Dark Oasis. Both shows' galleries are up at my photography site. These were painfully slow in getting out for a few reasons; some glitches with the server's software forced me to manually set images one-by-one instead of batching. The Dark Oasis stage has been the most challenging lighting I've encountered in a while, so my usual tricks didn't work as well as usual, thankfully I shoot in RAW and some fancy conversion work rescued the shoot.

Another thing to slow me down is the distraction of a long weekend from which I came home to find the whole region ablaze. While I don't live right by the danger zones, there's a lot of friends & family who do. So I've been watching the fire's progress very closely. Fortunately it looks like everyone I'm personally concerned about will come through unscathed. Wish I could say the same for everyone.
