<div>Probably why I never was able to get a date in college. I was the "nice" guy.
Truthfully, I've always hated being viewed as the "nice" guy. Yes, we're gentlemen, yes, we don't come on to women in the promise of a one night stand. Yet we're ignored and waved off.
I was blessed or cursed to be privey of the lives of womenfolk. After all, being a "nice" guy you're not viewed as a real guy. Most of the time we're viewed as "off", in otherwords Gay, a faggot, a woman in a guys body. Hey, if that one's calling that's fine if thats ones calling, but it's not mine. I like women.
To many times did I have to listen to the bitching and complaining of how horrible guys are, all they want is sex, blah blah blah, why can't they be as nice as me. Yet never offering me a date or anything like that.
And here's a secret of nice guys. We do know how to please a woman, but know that those that we choose, we're planning on long term.

Valentines day...

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/e2d9930a-56b9-4873-a3ba-b07027fd2f99/blog/b00e68b4-455a-4198-86b3-83eb3235cfc4"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/dae/ff7/daeff764-db1a-428f-913e-89655a33deba.thumb" width="65" height="46" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>Oh, how I LOATH this day. Always have. I was always the kid who didn't get many valentines growing up. In high school, my so called girl firend didn't want to send me one because she didn't want to embarace herself.
I hate this holiday with a passion. I used to call in sick on that day and stayed inside with the TV off out of protest. At least more and more people are feeling the same about this day.
I hate it because its a manipulation game. If you don't get a valentine in school, you're a looser. When you're older, from a guys perspective, you HAVE to buy your girl GOOD stuff like fancy chocolates, jewlery, flowers, take her your to a fancy place. Otherwise, she's going to leave you for someone else. From a womans perspective, if a guy doesn'y buy you these things, he don't love you and is probably cheating on you. WHEN he DOES give you these things, you're supposed to reward him with sex, or the promise of sex.
I hate the whole modern concept of valentines day. Its cruel and ugly day to those who have no one, and those that have someone.
I am blessed to have a wife that understands and feels the same way about this.
I did find a editorial comic in the Kuwait times that have be rolling on the ground laughing about valentines day.
Will have to see if I can scan it.</div>

Pacifism

<div>While being a pacifist does have its merrits, I can not totally agree with their measures of just letting people walk all over them.
Maybe because I've seen to much harshness in life. Maybe growing up and being harassed and picked on, I tried being a pacifist, but that didn't work. It only made things worse, to which I still bear the emotional scars to this day. It only stopped when I stoood up and fought, but I ONLY fought when I had no choice and stopped when they were defeated.
Most westerners who choose to be pacifists do so our of political reasons and that of eog. They have the additude of I am nice and if we all act this way, the world will be nice.
BULLSHIT! Some of the most cruelest people I've met are so called pacifists. Physcially, they are not cruel, oh, but verbally and emotionally? They'll take great pleasure in knowing they got to you and provoked you into hitting them. How is that not cruel?
Yet I've seen someone trained for war and to fight, be one of the most soft spoken people and go out of their way not to cause trouble.
To me, a true pacifist is someone who causes no harm to another physcially, mentally, and emotionally. They are conscous of their actions and the ramifications, and take no pleasure in causing another pain in any shape of form.
Could I ever be a pacifist? No.... I'm to hardened, bitter, and angry to do that, but I don't go out of my way to cause harm to another, unless there is a good reason.</div>
