In early February, I went to visit my Grandmother in Florida. I feel ashamed to say that It had been entirely too long since I had seen her and she was very ill. Just one week after I left to come back home, my Grandmother passed away. I remember talking to her on the phone before I went to visit her and she broke my heart when she said "Hopefully I will still be here and get to see you again." The human spirit is TRULY amazing. I love and miss you Grandma. You will always be remembererd as my adorable and most sweet little sicilian MeMa!
