As I ponder the root cause, the base of all things my focus becomes blurred. I don't know whether is this caused by any fault of mine or my ability to think and reason, or if it is a general shortcoming of our species. Either way I wonder how we can know all to be all? Why?
Why do we treat animals as things? Just things that can be bought or sold? Let's treat them with respect. Animals are not part of the consumer society, they are part of Mother Earth.
