Chellcy is one of the most creative & skilled professional belly dancers I know! Watching Chellcy perform at live events is a thrill as it’s awesome to watch her improvisational skills shine - she just doesn't miss a beat! In addition to being an amazing improvisational dancer, her choreographies are dynamic and versatile. As the Creative Director and Leader of Fringe Benefits her ability to choreograph large group dances for a wide range of bellydance styles has always impressed me. As an instructor, Chellcy offers fun and challenging classes ... I appreciate that she does not “dumb down” the curriculum as she will always challenge us by teaching difficult technique that shows she believes in our potential. Not only does she strive to challenge her students, but she equally challenges Fringe Benefits & pushes herself to continually improve - a quality I respect and value. Not only is Chellcy an amazing belly dancer, but she’s a great friend who’s graciousness and ability to see the good in everything is a quality of hers that I truly admire. Love ya Chellcy!!!

Heartland Arab Music Seminar!

WOW!!! What a fantastic time! I was only there for a day and a half, but I learned so much from the talented spread of instructors there, including my friend Naser Musa (who I highly recommend as a performer and instructor) and the infamous Karim Nagy (who whipped out a myriad of tones and rhythms on sagat the size of my head!).... amazing! Bellies For Life Cancer Benefit a Success!

Hi Everyone!
So, Fringe Benefits and I performed at the cancer benefit Bellies for life in Champain, Illinois over the weekend and can I just say wow! What a great event. Ishara Gamal did such a great job putting it together and what a great turn out. I hope that they made a lot of money for the cancer research. What a great show too!
