Garrett is one of my best friends I have known since I was 5 years old. When we were little, I went to school with him in elementry and high school almost every day until he became too cool and wouldn't talk to me anymore. We used to talk to walk in the fields and hills of yucca valley with him talking about life and be on the phone every single day for hours laughing, gossiping, arguing. He was just a little nerdy guy with a lot of personality who loved my best friend Brandie. Then all of the sudden he started to fill in and wasn't a little pip squeek anymore, he was a bad ass wrestler dude who dated the prettiest blond in school........and played a bass guitar and smoked buddha. Now, as a future and aspiring movie maker, he still has the ability...like NO ONE else....to push every single buttong in my being, just for the hell of it, and make me laugh from the deepest place in myself. His dry sarcasm is as unique as himself. As Garrett finds himself and makes himself the man he is going to be, I am so happy after all these years, we are still friends.
