I am a nun ordained by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche of the Palyul Nyingma Lineage. I took vows of ordination in 1988 at Kunzang Palyul Choling Buddhist Temple, founded by Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo, my root guru. I found my path in my late 30's and had already been married-with-children, so now I have the double blessing of living the life of a renunciate but enjoy my six grandkids also! I live and work at the Temple in Poolesville, Maryland, having just moved back here from living 9 years in Sedona, Arizona where we have built a 35 foot Amitabha Stupa and plan to build a temple as well.
