Satan's bad kid

Missy Church is a very interesting and unique person. Despite our both being agnostic if not atheistic, it's quite remarkable that we met at confession (this is the truth).
When I first visited her fine flat I was blown away!! She has tons of groovy artifacts spanning her life and her interactions with others. HER HOUSE IS A FREAKING XLNT MUSEUM...forget SFMOMA, go to Missy's house if you want to see an interesting exhibit. Ok...what she did was that she converted me to a collector. I've been keeping journals for years, but never collected evidence and artifacts. On June 13th, 2005 I collected my first artifact for insertion in my journal. The artifact was a tiny used ziplock bag that previously contained some sort of crank, coke, or other white powdery substance. I collected the item near Hayes and Octavia on the sidewalk. The approximate location was Northeast of the David Best temple commemorating the removal of a freeway. The bag was small enough to staple right inside my journal. For the record I did not sample the contents of the bag, but I'll bet it wasn't sugar. Since Missy converted me, I've collected several artifacts...a shiny cloth leaf from a party, a feather from a river bank, a piece of a sticky note containing a password...Missy Church has greatly enhanced my journaling (and home decorating) experience! Thanks Missy...you are my sweet Tulipe Noire! February 25, 2005

Yes, I am a date-tard. The How-weird is THIS Sunday. Is there anyone with a truck or a big fat back who can carry my cargo-bike from upper haight to downtown?
Who is going to the Howard Street Festival this Sunday?

"While many women went with modified bondage gear, complicated bodices and tall boots, others got more inspired by the Gorey theme. Missy Barrow from San Francisco rigged up an impressive sexy bat costume with garbage bags and electrical tape. "It cost, what, 10 or 15 dollars altogether and took maybe two hours," she said, looking to her husband, who was one of a handful of people dressed as Gorey-inspir... read more
