Wiggles Of the West...We won!

So, I've just competed in dancing for the first time... In anything really... Didn't know what to expect. A few things went wrong... Our flight was 2 hrs delayed Saturday night. We didn't get there until really late. Then when we unpacked it turned out one of us forgot a crucial part of her costume, the pants! What were we going to do? Luckily I'd brought my plum Melos and they matched perfectly with the rest of the costume. ( I was NOT the one who forgot her pants...) On competition day we didn't know what time we were to dance...frustrating when you are nervous and trying to stay focused. Finally it's our turn and everything starts out smoothly. :) Our second song starts and a few seconds in to it the music goes dead....completely dead....we continue our choreo as if nothing had happened and people started to clap along to keep the beat. The third and final choreo starts and still NO music. This is a fast flirty song and people are still clapping and cheering. Someone started to play the dumbek. We finished with NO music and people loved it! We didn't screw up at all..!
Still we had no idea how it had gone other than we felt great about our performance. We had done our absolute best! In the break later we were able to dance again. This time to music (of course withour judges..and only because we wanted to get it on film with music) People stayed and watched and were so supportive. Everyone was so nice. We got som many compliments and comments. Still we had no idea how we placed. AND we had to leave for the airport... We called from the airport and it tuns out we won!!!! We won our category! That is amazing!
