Their Eyes Are My Mirrors...

August 7, 2006
astara is a butterfly.

give her love and she returns.

she is a dancer, both figuratively and actually, ruled by the wind, partially psychic, extremely supernatural, cinnamon-skinned, a treat for the eye, and a consistent source of renewable energy.

given the chance, she could power the world.

catch her in life (away from this lightbright box)
and you will find a wonder to behold

about me
vibrant, open, passionate, intense, sensual, shy, mellow, awake but still dreaming, a sentient animal, abiding in the light side, acknowledging the shadows,
basking in storms and sunshine, exploring nature, hunting for caves, and hunting even in art for form and color; sound and how it texturizes space and mood, and watching as all this fills my self. a self that continually expands and contracts. and i am still figuring it out...this dance of life.

In the summer thunderstorms would be fractured by waves of sunlight creating incredible cloud formations. I can see, feel why artists are drawn here. We had, a first for us in many years, a white xmas, there is something insulating and soft about some kinds of snow storms, the fat fluffly flakes catching the city lights and making the night sky glow am... read more
