Finally we are leaving. It has been an interesting year working on both the grid job and navigating the landscape of the relationship. But, now we go for a three week leave to Kauai to detox and live more intensely in our bodies before we return to begin mapping our life in New Mexico. We are hoping the island is a safe place to pare down to a simpler way of being for a while, get a good dose of nature to flush away
some of the thought processes that we sometimes arm ourselves with to live in the city. Bringing my didj and hoping to catch a circle or two. And now back to compartmentalizing my material reality.
