about me
I am a Tribal Fusion Soloist in Chattanooga, TN. My Mom bellydanced in the 70's, and passed on some of her costuming items to me. I have been a musician all of my life and according to my older brother, was born with the "look at me gene." I teach bellydance at Aspire Studios twice a week, and am currently working towards a yoga teaching certification. I have a long haired Chihuahua and a Hubby who love me very much.

I am so stinkin proud! I just had a very small hafla this evening to give one of my students an opportunity to perform. It was the first time she performed for an audience, and she was AMAZING! The whole time she was dancing, I was just glowing......

Ok, so we all know how this works. Sheesh! I am grossly misquoted here... the whole part about the history of bellydance might as well have not been in there. And I said male bellydancers were expressing joy! Chattacon is this weekend at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel! I will be performing January 23rd during the Revue, which starts at 9pm. Saturday, January 24th, I will be teaching a Tribal Fusion Choreography at 5pm. This class is for all levels; advanced dancers will be challenged with layering and beginners will have a good breakdown of the moves.
