I live with my wife April on the coast of California, with Los Angeles 4 hours south and San Francisco 4 hours north. I picked up a drum in March of 2005, but I didn't begin to really know how to play until January 27, 2007 - my first class with Souhail Kaspar (neareastmusic.com). Unfortunately for the other members of that class, Souhail seemed to devote the entire session to my personalized instruction. I realize now that this wasn’t the case – it is simply his unique ability as a teacher.

It is my current honor and extreme privilege to be playing weekly for the classes held at World Rhythm and Motion Studios in San Luis Obispo. My sincerest and most heartfelt thanks go out to Jenna (worldrhythmandmotion.com) and Saundra (sousoudance.com) for putting up with my playing for their regular bellydance classes and for giving me the opportunity to join SaJa as a drummer. I have seen many dancers and performances over the years, and you guys are pros! Thanks also to Keeth CrowHawk (myspace.com/didjhawk) for your friendship and for your drumming guidance. You are what I aspire to become as a drummer, bro!
